My first attempt at home made calzones didn't go too badly, in the end. I think I'm going to just use store bought dough mix next time, though.
@coyoteseattle I recommend Pillsbury dough stuff, like croissant dough or biscuit dough or something. It comes sectioned into bits designed for the item in question, but you can then take a controlled quantity and smash them back into a single dough ball, to ensure consistent size. Like, "2 cans of 8 croissants, take 3 sets of 5 for things then make a croissant"
@Facet Yeah, I've made personal pizzas that way, and it works pretty well. Though I think my next experiment may be pizza gyoza, because I also found an internet recipe for that, and I'm good at healthy cooking.
